UPDATE ON OUR GPs  -   No information at the moment

DUTY DOCTOR SYSTEM -   Slots are for "urgent" problems when no other Doctor is available, and for only ONE problem.   A DUTY NURSE is now available to deal with minor or routine problems such as - Family Planning, Sexual Health, Repeat medication, Blood Pressure checks for medication reviews, Minor Injuries, Wound Infections and other minor ailments BUT NOT blood tests.  You may not always need to see a Doctor for your symptoms.  Reception Staff may ask you what your symptoms are.  This is to ensure you are seen by the appropriate member of the Team.    RECEPTION STAFF ARE BOUND BY RULES OF CONFIDENTIALITY.

APPOINTMENTS  -  We have a mixture of pre-bookable and book on the day appointments. If you want to make an appointment, decide when you want to come and ring up on that day. Otherwise you can book an appointment up to 2 weeks ahead. If we are unable to offer you an appointment over the next 2 weeks, then we prefer to offer you a consultation today rather than ask you to ring !

APPOINTMENTS TELEPHONE LINE - Now open from 8am Monday to Friday.

DIRECT DIAL NUMBERS FOR -

OPENING HOURS  -  We are open   Monday to Friday        8am - 1pm  /  2pm - 6pm

SATURDAY MORNING SURGERIES   -   We now offer appointments on a Saturday morning.  This service is mainly for those patients who find it difficult to attend during the week. These have to be pre-booked and there is only one Doctor seeing patients.   This is not a walk-in service - for any urgent issues please contact the out of hours service as usual by phoning the Practice and listening to the message.      When we cannot run a Saturday morning surgery, we replace it with late evening sessions during the week.

MINOR AILMENTS - Dont forget that if you have a "minor ailment" and dont pay for prescriptions, you can go and see the pharmacist at the local chemist. Pharmacists are highly qualified and are more than capable of dealing with "minor ailments"
Even if you do pay for your prescriptions, go and get some advice from your local Chemist before you make an appointment with the Doctor.

MINOR INJURIES - We offer a minor injury service to our registered patients and patients who are unable to get to their own Doctors If you have suffered an injury within 48hrs like a laceration, or a burn, or something which is not amenable to simple domestic first aid, but not severe enough to go to A & E, we can treat you at our Practice. Come to Reception and tell the Staff you need to see a Nurse urgently.

PHONING WHEN SURGERY IS CLOSED  -  When the Practice is closed, the phone system can divert you automatically to the out-of-hours service.      If the divert system does not work, telephone Badger Harmoni direct on 0300 1 30 30 40.  You can also ring NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.    You will be asked for personal details including your NHS number.   Please have all this information to hand when you make the call.

TRANSPORT - We are no longer able to book hospital transport.
If you require transport to a Warwickshire hospital, ring 01926 885071. For transport to other hospitals, please ring the hospital concerned.

PATIENT SURVEY - Questionnaires are now sent out by the Department of Health.  If you receive one, please complete it and send back to the return address on the form.

PATIENTS PARTICIPATION GROUP - Details of the Group members, together with minutes of the last 2 meetings are on a noticeboard in the waiting room.
