The NHS Friends & Family Test Results - October 2018 Posted on 1 Nov 2018





All England GP Practices were contracted to implement the ‘Friends and Family Test’ from 1st December 2014 with results to be published monthly.  The results are shown below:

·         Very helpful and nothing is too much trouble

·         I have been more involved with the practice since 2009 when I Ovarian Cancer, Last year I had more Bowel surgery and have had A Seroma since it’s been a very hard long journey Dr Heath and Christopher Dean and Nurses Sarah Carol And Linda have been wonderful I also had the district nurses from Atherstone st the weekends the lovely also Receptionists and Girks in the Pharmacy have been really helpful

·         Having a doctor that listens to you, takes time and doesn't make you feel like a nuisance

·         Managed to get Saturday appointment which is great for me as work full time also dr wildbore was fantastic and spent time to listen and explain things to me

·         I’ve always had good service from everyone at the surgery

·         Very friendly reception staff and Dr Trisha Wildeboare was very caring and professional in her approach. I had a very satisfying patient experience and would highly recommend this practice to anyone

·         Appointment booking is horrendous. It does not work and especially for people working

·         I spoke to the receptionist and told them I had a blood test booked for 11:40 and also a blood pressure exam at 12:05. I waited for half hour while people who came in after me were seen before me. Around 10 people. I then got seen by the blood pressure nurse who was shocked that I hadn't been seen but then told me that I hadn't even been booked in yet. I had 45 min break from work which i was late getting back for. Dreadful service from the receptionists

·         Don’t answer telephone and can’t get appointments

·         Surgery very overcrowded and had to wait 40 minutes



·         It is impossible to actually book an appointment.
Firstly you have to call at least 80+ before you can even get through, then you are not allowed to even try to book an appointment without a call back from the doctor.
Then when you get a call back from the doctor, they ask you to come in within the next 10 minutes? When half the time due to work commitments, I cannot do.
